thinking of getting a Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4 4g but i can get Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4 wifi only for one hundred pound cheaper i have a mobile router with 4g so will the wifi one be just as good

Sort of. The 4G version will use a SIM card to connect to the internet via whichever network you're willing to pay money to for the privilege.
The wifi version will only connect via a wifi source.
