Lenova yoga tablet 2 query

Hi folks, nor very good with these things, but heading on hols so trying to put some films for my son on an SD card so he can view on the plane.

I have downloaded a couple onto an sd card but cant figure out where i go to view them on the tablet??

Any idea's

download from google play vlc player freeware and will play all video you have on tablet drag application to home screen and you are done i have all my locksmith videos on mine .
