    Kodi menu setup walkthrough

I made this idiots guide to setting up the Kodi menus for part of my family. A very small part of my generally retarded family. I'm now getting requests from ebay users, but ebay don't allow links on reviews... so I'm putting it here.

It doesn't cover how to install addons. Just the menu setup from start to finish.

    Hope it's useful...

This link is broken and there were issues when trying to update it. Uploaded the file as a PDF a little lower down

Not sure if the images are working... which makes this almost useless.. I'll have another look at it.

Yet another link to try.... https://docs.google.com/document/d/0B02HCMyrEjk0TFd6ZEN6ZWFiZlE/edit?usp=drivesdk&ouid=104308657680534648967&resou rcekey=0-moTym7qvIo_-tH3SydvvAA&rtpof=true&sd=true

Ok, I've been AWOL for a while. But I've started getting access requests for the now out of date walk through.

If you use the default skin (Estuary). All you need to do is go to Settings > Interface > Configure Skin > Main Menu Items

From there just deactivate everything you don't need. For most users, that will leave you with only the Addons. If you're using a NAS for Films, Tv, Music, etc ... Leave those sections activated.

Setting up NAS access in Kodi is a pain in the ass. You will need to check the model of your NAS with the manufacturer for instructions on setting up access. Then google 'setting up NAS on kodi'. Basically, you will need to find the IP address for the NAS and the location of where you stored your media. Once you've done that, it's reasonably easy... ish.

        Google is your friend

The other possibility is that people are fishing of an account to try and hack.
