kodi for fire stick

hi,i ,have just bought a fire stick and i want to put kodi on it,i downloaded es file explorer,when i go to kodi download and hit arm it will not download,i have been into setting and turned apps from unkown sources on,but it still wont download,what am i doing wrong.
