    ipad hangs up

    When using safari on the internet my Ipad (not ipad2) suddenly stops downloading. The little revolving circle keeps going around and then stops with no download.I have to switch off the ipad and then back on again and it works.
    Does anyone know how to deal with this problem?

          I get the same problem ,some how it locked on 7 pages ,I could not even switch it off,there was a small padlock displaying at the top off the page,I had to let it power down then I recharged it and it has been ok since,I think I must have pressed something,as aim new to the ipad2
