Apps for mp4 conversion

Hi all.
I mainly use VidCoder (open source) to convert my movies to mp4 for my iPad. Can anyone suggest any other open source/free apps that may do the job quicker/with more input source options?

Download goodplayer from the app store it plays most file types without conversion.

Video converter from kyotesoft.com is very good and has a variety of conversion options iPad iPhone and iPod all included. Free of course.
