Cydia Problem - Help needed

Hi DK'ers,

Hope someone can help me with a problem im having on cydia. I have an ipad 2 16gm/3g.

since last week whenever i go into cydia all i get is an error message of cydia method driver /usr/lib/apt/methods/HTTP could not be found, which stops cydia from refreshing.

I have googled it but i cannot make sense of it, i have tried a couple of things like renaming files, however nothing helps.

if anyone can help it would be mega appreciated

Have you tried booting tethered from redsn0w? It would be worth a try, then updating the jailbreak.
