Hi, my mate who I sold my jailbroken ipad4(with 6.1.2)on it is having problems as I only erased stuff on it as much as I could and now apps left on need updating but asking for my apple id and password so now he wants it to be unjailbroken so he has give me it back to sort out anyway reading elsewhere it says whatever you do don't go into the ipad settings and erase stuff there as this will cause problems but connect ipad through iTunes and restore(not sure if I need to backup all data with selling ipad on)and this will remove jailbreak and if I have got this right will I be able to update from 6.1.2 to the latest ios7 without any problems,THANKS.
