Unlock ipad air?

This has probably been asked before but as I'm on my phone and tired off my nightshift I thought I'd ask.

I'm after a new ipad so I can give my other one to my daughter as she cries when I take mine to work.

I've seen a second hand one locked to Vodafone, however my sim is on 3. Can it be unlocked to work on 3 by a shop or would I need to contact Vodafone?

You need to contact Vodafone I think
