help unlock iphone

hi guys going to try unlock iphone and would like some help please and iam a real noob when it comes to this or as others say a real noob nonstop .

ok this is what i know of the phone
its version 4.2.1 (8c148a)
carrier is orange uk 9
model is mc132b
modem firmware is 05.15.04
it is a 3gs

so where do i start and what will it do to the phone ???

Hello there unlock or jailbreak ?? Unlock the phone to any sim u will have to change baseband jailbreak greenpoison just don't upgrade your firmware to 4.3 in iTunes or u won't get it untethered all my info can be found on this site if you use the search option or google

Dont upgrade to 4.3 jailbreak and unlock using redsnow google your friend

In order to unlock it you will need ipad baseband for ultrasnow to work.
There are risks doing this so personally would leave it until a better unlock is available. This shouldnt be to long as 4.3 firmware is out and has been jailbroken. Leave it a couple of weeks but if you cant wait then here is the current solution...
