need some help ppl trying to restore my 3gs been stuck on the apple logo pressed the power and home together untill it in recovery mode i think were i got to plug it in to i tunes starts loading the new software gets almost to the end then get msg saying error (1015) any help will be great thanx

Google error 1015...easy enough fix.

If your iPhone has been previously jailbroken and you are now stuck in an Apple logo boot loop.By simply jailbreaking with Greenpos0n will kick you out of the Apple logo loop. This works 90% of the time. Restoring should be the last option. No data will be lost with this method.

Disregard the fact you cannot power off your iPhone,just follow exactly the on screen instructions to jailbreak....timing
is important.

i would restore with itunes, then re jailbreak with snowbreeze

I had similar problem as the one you having the only way I found to correctly restore was using a different pc, hth,

Hi Mate ignore the other posters dont mean to be rude , but the 1015 error is easy to resolve , just use tinyumbrella from HERe once downloaded, right click run as admin, if you get an error close TU and right click/properties/compatability tab, and tick run in xp mode apply and save.
then connect your iphone and close itunes up if it starts up , run tinyumbrella, when open your iphone will be detected click on kick out of recovery and your iphone will restart and job done ,
