People make sure all your Cydia apps and tweaks and Themes are compatible with 4.3.1 fw before upgrading....

Did the jailbreak yesterday on my m8s phone worked ok put apps on etc but couldnt get carrier .

Used tinyumberella and put 4.2.1 on it and jb that instead worked fine read somehwere you have to use a switch -n to say its an allready activated phone ?

Anyone seen this issue or wait for Greenpois0n like i did 4.2.1 with

hi mate,im new to all this too duno if u have tryed this but when i upgraded to 4.2.1 with 06.15.00 baseband i had to add repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ as the source url and press the Add Source button worked for me

Thanks ill try that when i get brave enough to trash it agian from 4.2.1 to 4.3.1

Mines not unlocked is on O2 so wasent bothered about saving the base band for unlocking.

Hi All...

I am after a bit of advice please, I currently have an iPhone 4 jailbroken on 4.1... Unfortunately I did not save my SHSH blobs for 4.1 and Cydia is showing I have my blobs for 4.2.1 and 4.3 backed up...

I am now wanting to update my phone to 4.3 and was wondering what would be the process for doing this...

In addition... Would I need to download all the apps I have again or would these be transferred automatically....

I look forward to all your advice...

Have you synced your apps into itunes from your phone if you right click on device and go transfer purchases thats the apps backed up then you will need to dl 4.3.1 and i would recomend using snowbreeze 2.5.1 to jailbreak

A few additional questions... I have tried to transfer purchases before and it seemed to have wiped off all the ones I downloaded via installus... will this still be the case...

Also is the Snowbreeze and untethered JB...

1st you need to have appsync installed for 4+from cydia for the apps to go over in itunes.

2nd yes is untethered JB fully customiseable
