    Is this iphone Bricked

I'm abit of a technophobe to a degree, I have tried Jailbreaking iphone 3gs it's stuck on showing the itunes logo and power lead and it's saying error code 1015, then I googled to find out how to get out of it and then it said error code 1600. i have since done the Power and Home button and tried to restore via itunes, and it's gone back to error code 1015. eeek any help appreciated.

If you are doing a restore make sure your antivirus is disabled. I had this problem and never guessed that my antivirus would do that but it did and I think it was the same error code. I have been able to update mine almost every time without disabling my antivirus but this one time made me pull my hair out too.

I had a similar problem, it was caused by a block to apples server, does it get to the end of restoring then throw up the error?, because if it can't connect to apple after restore it will give an error, check your hosts file for an apple entry and if found delete it - click start, run, notepad, click file open, navigate to C: windows system32 drivers etc, change box at bottom of window to all files, open and edit hosts

If you still are stuck take it to an apple store, they will fix software issues for you for free
