The other half has finally decided her N8 is turd and wants an iPhone. Could I get a 3GS locked to o2 or Vodafone etc to be unlocked to use on 3 network?

If it's o2 they will do it free if you are on contract with them or ?15 if your payg just have ?15 credit and go online o2 web page then you got a unlocked for ever iPhone ;-) -

3gs can be unlocked via software aswell if you dont want to pay, but getting it unlocked from o2 is probably the better option cause then you only have to really worry about is if there is a jb availble if you ever update the phone by mistakeComment
