HELLO ALL I HAVE A BRAND NEW IPHONE 3. NOTHING IS INSTALLED ON IT AS YET. WHATS THE BEST WAY OF DOING THIS PHONE. I WAS TOLD IT WAS ALREADY UNLOCKED BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW. WHEN IT IS BRAND NEW. WHAT IS JAILBREAKER. IS THAT WHAT I NEED AND WHAT DOES THAT ABLE THE PHONE 2 DO. THANK YOU ALL YOUNGIEE

TURN CAPS OFF PLS

IF ? it is unlocked ?? then update through itunes to 4.2.1 firmware and use redsn0w 0.9.6b6 or sn0wbreeze 2.2 to jailbreak, make sure its unlocked first if you need unlock ,if it isnt then come back here

ok mate turned caps of now where do i download the software for iphone 3 then mate is it easy 2 do i dont want to brick my only new phone i have every had. its just my luck cheers lee

ok mate i have had a look at itunes software witch one do i need. its says the 4.3.3 will not work with jailbreak. so witch one do i use and how will i know my phone is opened or not cheers youngie

the sim card in this iphone does not seem to be surppoted. help where am i going wrong i never got the sim card just the orange one i have cheers lee

It's not unlocked then ,tell me the firmware and baseband !?

we may have to sort you out first if we can and then update to newest custom 4.2.1.... Didnt think 3G could use 4.3.3 anyway but tell me FW etc

If you tried to upgrade and the phone is not "Factory Unlocked" your might upgrade your baseband which may mean you lose your "Unlock" status
