Need help to jailbreak iphone 3gs

hi m8 you could jailbreak with sn0wbreeze 2.7.3, but as for unlock only way is the ipad fw way,which comes with cautions 1. losing gps-maybe, 2. not being able to come back from that firmware 3.warrenty loss . but if unlock is more important then its worth it...upto u pal you can read here Dev-Team Blog - Ultra-recycle

From ebay....Its a used one locked to vodafone,,

dont think he could mate,that baseband is unlockable, and the guide is for people on phones that are already unlocked ien specific basebands. as the guide and ipsw`s are custom and preserve baseband.

for instance if someone is on 3.1.3 custom fw and unlocked then it would update firmware but not baseband so they can still install ultrasn0w...erm yeh

your baseband isn't unlock-able ,not that i`m aware of, but things change quickly round here

Thanks alot for all the help Mickydibble.... I have jail broken my Iphone with no problems thanks to you.....

I put the unlock on hold for the time been, As i don't like the sound of maybe losing GPS. So will see if anything comes out for my base band in the near future....

Also where is the best place to get free apps?

i would say first thing to do would goto appstore and make an itunes account and download a free app first !!


then go into your cydia app,click manage,click sources,click edit,click add,type in cydia.hackulo.us ,when prompted add source and ignore warnings .

once done go into the hackulo source and install the following:
APPsync for 4.0
hackulous security
installous 4
-and crackulous if you want to crack your own apps,but you can do that anytime and is not needed

when done go back to home screen and find app installous click and enjoy
