iphone 4 wifi seems faulty

hey all my iphone 4 wifi seems to have developed some kind of fault , it keeps saying no internet connection , its not my router cos im using my laptop to post this , seems to work for a minute then drop off , i have rebooted the phone , and renewed the lease in the settings but still the same , it only started doing it today .

Try resetting Networks in settings....and re-connecting...failing that, try connecting to a different wifi network to prove if it's your iPhone or your router at fault.

I just posted this same thing for someone else but I have seen this with my iPhone 4 and my brothers iPhone 3GS. It seems as though some routers or wifi connections will not give the correct ip address. If you check in your setting when it says you are connected it will give you a weird subnet like 255.255.0.0. If this is correct see my other post under wifi problem with iPhone 2g.

Have you got a jailbroken iphone or standard
