actually paul i cannot access the phone book because its protected by a four digit password which i dont know. ps if you cant come on here without offending members or swearing at them then take my advice and stay away as you are not welcome on here.

      oooh listen to her.......
this is a forum and everyone is allowed an opinion and if you dont like it then i suggest you stay away instead of trying to get people to sort out a phone that someone has lost (and probably paid highly for too) instead of doing the decent thing of handing it in so it can be returned.just because no-one else on here had the bottle to come out with what i said dont make it right what you have done/trying to do,and if you look back through the thread you will see that one or two actually agree with me.

But once the simcard is blocked you can no longer do it.

i doubt then that it could be done if the sim card were changed.

        would this be correct?

maybe you should read the rules of the forum about abusive language paul, and causing offence to other members.

interestingly enough myself and my friend went for a walk last night and we found a handbag, with credit cards, cheque book, keys etc inside. luckily there was also a phone bill with a number on it so i rang the number and arranged to give her handbag back. she was so delighted, i couldn't imagine not giving it back, especially after my daughter losing her phone.

at the end of the day i guess its up to you, o2 will know by the imei number who owns the phone and i'm pretty sure if it's returned to the rightful owner can unblock it. what's it worth to sell it on, twenty quid, fifty at the most?

your entitled to your opinion m8 but using words like "thieving robbing bastard" to describe some one is not acceptable, and i stand by what ive said, thread will be closed if any more.

i for one think it should be closed anyway.

most have made their point clear, and i can only see this descending into the gutter. what is there to be gained from leaving it open, nothing!!!
