    oops, urgent help needed

    whilst trying to change firmware to 4.3.3 i have some how completely stuffed up the iphone 3Gs.
    it says the sim card inserted is not supported and to insert the sim card that came with the phone. its asking to be connected to itunes and that its emergency calls only. all kinds of languages are being displayed and there is a keypad on the screen.

    HHEEELLPP!!!!!!!!

      phone is now working with original sim card only, now not jailbroken and is tethered to vodafone.

      how or where to jailbreak and untether please guys.

      3GS on 4.3.3

      not looking good, firmware is now 05.16.02

      gonna need an idiots guide to jailbreak and unlock im afraid.

      bet i cant unlock it.................~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

          Upgraded baseband not good....no unlock......Some may say to upgrade the baseband to the iPad baseband to get an unlock fix...this will give more pain than gain..

              And you can't rewind either. Will there be an unlock eventually or can I get a factory unlock from somewhere?
              How about the jailbreak?

                  Jailbreak all ok...check with Vodafone what's required to have a factory unlock...? best long term solution....

                      Could you please put meca link up of where to go for jailbreak. A bit num so need a point and click option. You have seen what happens when left to work it out for myself.

                      Our Hilda is going spare. She says I done it deliberately to get my phone back off her.

                              OH dear !, anyway depends on what is more important ,jailbreak/unlock.
                              re-jailbreaking is easy but unlock as was said, is more pain Sort of?Gps is the main issue, but it's about usability.
                              what is needed by the phone?and if it's just" a phone and apps" etc.....maybe no gps!!? ...then I would say do the iPad fw route..how experienced is the user etc.

                              Also, what the ~~~~ happened?
