Hi guys im looking for a little advive on jailbreaking my iphone 3gs. I have done a lot of searching but there seems to be different answeres for differnet firmwares. I have just bought a new iphone and it has version 4.3.3 (8j2) and modem firmeware 05.16.02. I have downloaded Sn0wbreeze 2.7.3. Its asking for ipsw. The only 1 i can find is for an ipad 2 is this the correct file? . Before i do this will i need to backup the original firmware? And will i need a different firmeware? Will this also unlock the phone. And also can all this be reversable if i want to restore the phone at any stage. Thanks guys

Use the drop down menu to find the correct firmware for the correct iDevice.... make sure you choose correctly!!! then download your IPSW to your desktop

Sorry it took so long to reply. All sorted. I found the file in the drop down menu but couldnt get it to work. After 3 attempts i found another ipsw and installed with no probs. Phone now up and running with loads of apps
only downside is because i wanted it unlocked i had to use the ipad 6.15 so no gps but i hear this could be fixed soon
