same here, looking to sort my iphone 4, on 4.3.3 (8j2), firmware 04.10.01, locked to orange.

looking on net people advertising saying it can be done, but i would rather wait if there are issues.

Doesn't really matter for u because there is no unlock available just jailbreak .. Mickydibble

leaning to redsnow, tied to orange for 18 months, so unlock not needed now, will do it when available. will do it tomorrow now.

downloaded ipsw, came zipped, just put .ipsw after it, am i ready to go? just seems to simple, dont want to ~~~~ phone

tell me about it. spent 2 days a couple of years sussing cs on dreambox, once done, thought ~~~~ me, my 7 year old boy can do these for me now and he does. with iphone seemed more, but when you think, and get your head around it, its a piece off piss. well will confirm last statement is true tomorrow

right sat here trying to jb above phone. got redsnow on pc as given by micky yesterday, downloaded firmware, showing as rar file, iphone3 4.3.3_8j2_Restore.ipsw, is this correct, as when i press shift and click restore, i go to folder and it shows redsnow, but not firmware.

must be named wrong?
