I4 factory unlock........

g'day, whilst on mi jollys the confirmation email has been sent from Voda confirming my unlock. now the problem i have is that i dont have another mini sim card to put in the phone whilst i perform the unlock. could i use another voda sim or does it have to be a differant network?

Usually you need an original network sim(any Voda sim) to activate the iPhone...if you have received the confirmation of unlock try a non original sim...it should work..?

The email I have from NUC (VODA) says to use a different sim from the phones original sim. But says nothing about networks. And ivwas wondering if another VODA sim would work ok. See at the weekend when I sort our Matthew's phone out.
Also I can't remember if during the unlock if apple do a full restore and change versions etc

Hi mick, you need a sim from any other network, then connect to itunes, nothing gets changed other than you get a message saying it's unlocked, you could use a free payg sim chopped or filed down to do this

It should be on diff network mate... its working on your network with diff voda card

Problem is chaps I ain't got a different sim.
Where can I get a free micro sim?
I have a full sized gig gaff but it needs money putting on it to activate then chopping down.

You are going to need another sim in order to use it unlocked, if you are changing networks just wait till you get your new sim - or just try chopping the gif gaf and see if itunes will then activate the unlock without the sim having credit
