Imagine your new to jailbreaking scene... your in the middle of writing an email or playing a game when you get this splashed all over your screen....



A harmless trick played on a friend...
iPhoneDelivery is a free tweak in Cydia that allows the sending of Flash SMS, using the standard Message app. I use this when I need an important text to be read.... I have only tested this on iPhone to iPhone, and it works great...apparently the flash sms can be sent to other makes of phones...but I have never tested this..

This is the official repo site if you want to use it..

In Settings>Messages : make sure character count is on..Do not exceed 160 characters or it will revert back a normal text



into Delivery report and highlight "Full screen alert"



into Delivery mark and highlight "Normal"
NB-depending on your network just your mobile number will appear plus your message...O2 users seem to be lucky ones..more people need to test and report back..

It should look like this :



Start the normal Message app...Type your message but start with an exclamation mark to initiate Flash SMS

how do u get if from cydia ? i put in a search and can only find the 1 from ihack. is it the same one ?

That what I mean where do I put the repo ? and I downloaded a new carrier logo. 02. Where do I change it or turn it on ? tried winterboard but can't find it ?

Dependant on your network..and what their rules are...O2 customers are able to hide their number....try sending the message with "Discrete" option instead of "Normal"

ahh..but once it's set up you have an option of sending a flash sms or not by just adding an EXCLAMATION mark to your message

It's good mate but still shows my number

mine does not send my number when sent to iphone 4 but to 3g or 3gs it shows my number at the top of the message
