IPHONE 4 STUCK IN RECOVERY MODE

I dropped my Iphone 4 and the phone stopped working, I put it on charge, then it started charging, which was a bit weird.

The phone fell into DFU mode and only shows this if I put it on charge or connect it to my laptop. I tried to restore this via iTunes, but iTunes saying will not restore and will have to upgrade firmware to restore.

I do not want to upgrade as I have pics and numbers on the phone. Can I use another method to somehow escape out this DFU plz.

p.s. When I detach all wires and charger from Iphone then the screen is blank even if I press and hold power button and home button.

Factory restore my iphone with itunes

The Itunes restored my phone back to factory settings and luckily enough all my photos and messages had been backed up so I didnt lose anything.

Try this and let me know how you get on.

Ha ha I think he might have it sorted by now mate seeing as the post is a year and a half ago. Lol
