    I had one on O2, that was IMEI blocked but O2 still showed. IMEI is blocked by Apple not your carrier, and they can't unblock it.

    If anyone wants to sell any, give me a shout.

    As far as I'm aware it's the networks that blacklist the phone, they then share this with the other uk networks.
    But it's been a while since I've worked for a network, the Iphone could be different.

        i too was under the impression its the network that bar the phones imei !

        anyway the phone is not blocked and apple want a repair bill for repair so thought i'd post on here for suggestions before forking out.

        anyhow i have my empty box from apple now t send back for repair .

            I asked O2 and they told me it was Apple. Cos they said if O2 had blocked it, they would have unblocked it me as I had proof of ownership.

                                My wife had same problem six month ago and the iphone return to apple.The phone has jailbreak and i make reset
                                before send it to apple.Apple return the phone without any problem.Verify just the two pellet moisture of phone.
