Mick mine is playing up too mate its ok somedays but really slow recently too. Try follow smirnoffs advice mate.
Or you could download from the torrent sites and drag them into itunes. Pirate bay has iphone sections in its topo 100.

I think your download is incorrect or not terminated.Try to redownload it.

If you download it directly on installous and get this error, your ipa is not proper or not complete file.This is frequent in installous or others because of bad connection.Download it on torrent an sync with itunes is the best way.

I'm getting the same problem finally got around to jb my iPhone 4 n getting this error now in instalous, never had this Problem with me 3G or 3GS.
