I've googled this and still can't make me mind up me 3g was slow as out was forever on ssb settings freeing up memory can't think I can blame that on the jb tho, me 3GS was Betta, n me iphone4 since jb last night seems sweet what are ur thoughts does jailbreak slow ur phone down. Or does it all depend what phone u have and what things u have running like winterboard and that?

Yes and No. Jailbreaking your phone does not slow you down. However certain applications or tweets may slow do. Most are fine. Definitely worth doing. -
As soon as an iPhone is jailbroken the temptation to load up with every possible tweak/theme/function is strong.....this is where system resources are heavily stretched...and where you can experience a slow iPhone
Most people are drawn to the impressive and creative themes that are available in Cydia, a draw back of which is winterboard...which can be a massive drain on available Ram/system resources. Myself I like the many tweaks available in Cydia which also drains resources, but through experience my iPhone runs smoothly....

it doesn't slow you down if you have ios 4, but when you have ios 3 it will slow you very down,

I had my iphone 3gs jail broken and found it slow so I reverted it back to normal and its sound now..the choice is yours!!Comment
