Installous issues is there an alternative?

It used to be good for evaluating apps but now when I tried to download dishpointer to evaulate, installous now directs me to file site that asks for my mobile # then sends sms requiring subscription to download, it used to be hassle free now it's annoying, is there an alternative cydia app to evaulate apps?.

Alternative is to download them via bittorent and drag them into itunes then sync phone. You will need utorrent on computer, appsync from cydia. The pirate bay has an iphone section in its top 100.

I'm fairly sure installous will have them but when I click on the links it takes me to a page to enter my mobile number to win a mac air then after that I get text messages to enter pin # on following page then it says you should get your file shortly good luck then I received sms to subscribe & the file didn't download & worse I didn't win the mac air either, in theory installous is a great app but it's got to many hurdles & costs.

Andy this sounds like a corrupted installous package- remove it via cydia then reinstal via the hackulous site.

Thanks johnboy1974 problem solved, think there were issues with corruption because I used to get errors and it was an elementary mistake on my side on the fileape website I was clicking on 'download file' which took me on a goose chase rather than 'regular download' which did the bussiness thanks again.

Suppose you've never made mistakes?, I clicked on download file (highlighted in green on grey banner lower page) not the silly wonga ads, my pet hate is misinformation or the perpetuation of, I've no reason or gain to lie, nor do I understand your gain in questioning my explanation?, the issue has been resolved with helpful advice from members & installous is now back in my good books/iPhone

I also use to click on the download button on fileape and get an advert until the missus said click on "regular" tab and wait for the countdown and then click on the "download" button that appears.
