who's getting one and why? what are you coming from?

i currently have an i4 and will probably get one mainly for the camera improvements and the 1080p video recording. Siri will be an interesting toy...just wondering how "cool" it will be or will it even be able to understand southern dialect. faster processor and more ram are always a bonus.

I have a iphone 4 atm and must admit im not too impressed by the specs of the 4s, saying that i will prob end up getting one as current contract runs out november 1st and despite many ppl trying to copy nothing comes close to apple for useability and sheer stlye

dont agree . have both of them and not as good as all the iphones l have had , even my old 3g is still working away and daughter loves it and my 4 is great , no shitty add full software

after many months of asking people questions about what phone i should upgrade to, as my contract time is up.

the time has come and i have chose the iPhone 4s, its coming on Friday.

its been benchtested against the Galaxy s11, and beats it hands down for build and speed, it was between those 2 phones. I did manage to get a few hours play with the galaxy but it felt a bit cheap to me when your used to an iPhone, another thing that swayed me was all my existing apps that i have purchased.


i am not to bothered about jailbreaking anymore due to the fact that recently my phone started playing up, like switching off itself, and signal issues, but since i upgraded the firmware it has come back to life..

looking foreward to friday..

its been benchtested against the Galaxy s11, and beats it hands down for build and speed, it was between those 2 phones. I did manage to get a few hours play with the galaxy but it felt a bit cheap to me when your used to an iPhone, another thing that swayed me was all my existing apps that i have purchased.


i am not to bothered about jailbreaking anymore due to the fact that recently my phone started playing up, like switching off itself, and signal issues, but since i upgraded the firmware it has come back to life..

You let the fear of loss guide you to the wrong decision.

I used to use the exact same trick to sell gas & electricity.

i will be honest, and give honest opinion, not a blinkered one like so many people.

it should arrive tomorrow, then i can test it, i can say i tested a Samsung galaxy2, for a few hours and the phone seemed very cheap compared to the iPhones,.
speed was a little faster on the galaxy on the net compared to iPhone 3gs.

Apps, music.. without shadow of a doubt iPhone wins hands down.

the reasons i have a phone for are
1. phone calls, texts, web browsing
2. Apps, Games
3. Camera
4. access to my PC from work or anywhere
5. Alarm Clock
6. viewing Video, TV , from phone to TV, or watching sky sports at work.
7. Sat Nav
8. radio
9. Sky Sports News
10. Control my Sat reciever, or stream from it to my phone when in the bath or anywhere.
11. keep up to date with the forum, Facebook, messenger.
12. keep my grand daughter occupied when she comes round.

my iPhone does all those things i need it to do without crashing.

One big downfall with the new iPhone 4s is the UK voice recognition is no good just yet, no maps e.t.c. so need some quick fix for this part. the rest seems ok..


but we will see m8.. i am not knocking Android as they must also be good, but i can ony speak for what i have seen and not peoples comments.

My brothers had lots of problems with his signal dropping out constantly until i told him to do a full restore with latest firmware. now its working great, i think o2 must have updated the carrier signals.

I'd like to hear a non biassed report on what the 4 S is like.
I can't dispute the Iphone has the upper hand with the apps, but once someone gets organised with the android apps...there could be a power switch.

My main worries for those picking up the 4 s are the possible faults they could suffer with the new chip set.

W@nkers phones4u took my money last week, promised me delivery of a new iphone 4s 32gb tomorrow ?130 , then contract for 24 month.
i just phoned the assholes up , now they say i need to wait another month before i can upgrade. Yet the agreement over the phone was a delivery either today or yesterday.
yet they took the money from my bank in a second, and now i have to wait between 3-7 days for my money back.

W@nkers.. a lesson learned , dont ever use Phones4u,, they are w@nk.
