iOS 5 will it make the iPhone4 slow

    No not at all but the only thing is if you are using a GEVEY chip so you don't have to get the iPhone unlocked to use a diff network provider. I.e. if the iPhone was locked to Orange and they will not supply the unlock code, and then the only way was to use the above chip.

    But if you upgrade to OS 5 this will stop working as i found.
    I had a email from applenberry as follows:
    Dear customer,

    There is currently no way to unlock iOS 5 nor have a got word about an
    unlock from manufactures. If we do, we will post it on our website.

          Hi There,
          I have upgradr=ed a 3GS and my 4, and both are working well. the 4 has more new features available, and I am pleased with some of the new features.
          Speed seems at least as good as before. I would do it, back up first, you can go back ( I think)
