    can the baseband be changed

    hi all is it possible to change the baseband on an iphone for by downloading a different verison of custom firmware?

    You can't downgrade a baseband.... you can upgrade to an iPad baseband dependant on iPhone model.....In the UK we're lucky that we can request iPhone factory unlocks from the Service provider....in the US no such thing..

      it deppends which model of iPhone you have .

      look in google FUZZYBAND

      3G from 5.15.4 to 5.13.4 worked.

        Fuzzyband works for certain 3g iPhones with a specific factory bootloader version... I remember this tool back in the 3.1.3FW days I do believe it will work up to ios4.1...
