3GS on O2.... Can it be unlocked?

As above can a White 3GS thats been on o2 be unlocked to use on 3 network?

yes if your on version 4.33 or 4.35 by jailbreak and downgrading the modern firmware to 06.15.00 or altenately if u been with 02 for sometime ring them and they will unlock it may charge u though

Get unlock done by o2 its free on a contract and about 15 quid on payg- its money well spent- Cant see how this will affect the gps.

Give me a shout if its 3 pay as you go and i can advise on setting up internet settings for your unlimited data package. Dont tell 3 its an iphone just get some standard 3g sim cards.
