Can I buy the iPhone 4S without a contract?

I don't want to use it as a cell phone, but like an iPod touch. I like the look of the iPhone is all. I have an iPod touch. So would that work? Would it cost more?

yeah, when you buy a iphone without a contract it costs more. but then again you could just search for one on craigslist.org

If you want to just use it as a ipod touch then save your money and stick with what you have got.
To get the full benefits out of the 4s you need to have a contract or pay as you go sim with internet connection.
