Iphone is stuck in dfu mode after jailbreak?

if anyone smarter than me can fix this without doing a full natural itunes restore to the recent ios and upgrade my baseband while doing so i will love you.

heres the problem i have an 3gs and it was on original fw 4.2.1 i wanted to jailbreak and so i did snowbreeze and created custom firmware 4.2.1 to put on there ran tiny umbrella and its server thing and then ran itunes shift restore to my custom fw with cydia i put it into dfu mode and did the ireb and everything seems to go ok but now when it finishes it won't reboot at all and just stays in dfu mode. now it won't restore either because of some error 21

Your problem was caused by tiny umbrella messing with your pc's host file and blocking iTunes from connecting to apples server, if iTunes cannot connect at the end of the operation it fails every time, you need to edit the hosts file and delete the line containing apple, then all will be fine.

Are you in Recovery mode(usb logo) or DFU mode (screen is blank but recognised by iTunes)....depending on what bootrom(old or New) you cant restore to 4.2.1 if you dont have your SHSH blobs saved.... failing that welcome to 5.0.1 firmware.

Lol read his version - 4.2.1 , apple stopped signing it from a while. So connecting to apple servers will not fix his problem. Use tiny umbrella's fix recovery ... Or try new restore... Also google for " restore error 21" may give some good results...

Try restoring it on another computer that's what I had to do! It would not upgrade after jailbreak
