My wifes iphone 3gs is slowing down, what i mean by this is that it is taking a few seconds longer for mail, texts and apps to come on when she selects them. Can anyone help

your memory is probably filling up or have to many apps running in the background it happens on the 3gs's remove any newly installed apps since slow down , if not you could try deleting a load of unwanted stuff back up everything you want in itunes and restore the fw

Slow Iphone 3GS
It was all the games that my kid loaded on my phone, some of them were running in the background too. Once I unloaded some of them the problem was solved. Phone runs as good as new.
