Iphone4 - video playback but no sound

Hi,
I've had this issue for a while now - recording video but when played back no sound and I've copied video file to pc but just a faint background noise. Initially it worked

Anyone no of a fix apparently restoring it does not fix it.

If a restore dont fix it i would take it back to apple for a check up as the microphone could be faulty. Ps have you tried a standalone video recorder from the app store to see if that works.
