i unlocked my o2 iphone and it took 4 days.. i done it from here:

yip i done it from o2 over the internet think it was 20 quid which i done by payg voucher. For me it took 3 days and i got a text from o2 saying it had been. For the record it was the best 20 quid i ever spent on my iphone.

I rang tmobile and gave them my IMEI etc and they said they would send a letter with the unlock code in which would take 10 to 21 days

Its been 11 days and i haven't received anything and they didnt charge me which i think they were supposed to?

Buy the sound of it your codes come quick so maybe its not coming at all?

As far as im aware although i could be wrong. You dont get an unlock code for the iphone. You phone up your operator and they contact apple. They then send you a text telling you to connect your iphone to itunes and job done.

Done with orange on PAYG, had to have ?15 credit on phone and request unlock, They took the credit of phone and text me saying unlock was all done

i have the same problem with an iphone 4s o at&t fw 5.01
ive been told that it cant be unlocked as ive been on the phone to at&t, apple, t-moblie and a unlocking website

You can only unlock certain basebands.

Got a Payandgo O2 "4" unlocked a couple of weeks ago. ?15 credit and bob's your uncle. Took 2 days. They sent me a text once it had gone thru, then sync itunes and hey presto !

Better than some dodgy shop unlock that will relock on an upgrade.
