any solution to this problem chaps. Im having the same problem, tried deleting it, installed v1.6 but not hope. I have iphone4 v5.0.1 with siri installed.

Uninstall siri, and your tomtom will work properly. I had same problem, uninstalled siri and tomtom works fine.

maybe the latest tomtom doest support 3gs? try lower version?

Ok i had this issue since i upgraded to 1.9 when i opened up the tomtom it would hang at the logo loading screen and crash, i uninstalled and went back to 1.6 and the same thing, i got different version and followed numerous suppose fix's and decided to use co pilot in replace of the TomTom which i did not get on with.

After searching the entire net for a solution and none worked i found and tried, it tried this solution below and thought no way it cant be that simple but gave it a try and all is back to normal using TomTom 1.6. Uk and Ireland.

Go to settings > general > international > and change he region format to united states > respring and your TomTom should load ...... it worked for me to my suprise.

I changed it back to United Kingdown after a while and yes it is still working.
