It cannot be done there is no such app. However there are apps which will show you free wifi available in your vicinity. Free wifi such as burger king mcdonalds etc.

iWep Pro 4.1.3 - in Cydia

Only works on certain routers and the owner of the network must still use the original router password....

Fiji so it wont work unless you know the password then.

No...it only works on original passwords that were shipped with the router...

so these routers have passwords that cannot be changed and this cydia app knows the passwords for the specific routers if it comes across them. Is this right.

Some people are just too lazy or have no idea how to change passwords on their router, this just takes advantage. I had this a year back and never found anything it would connect to

                    It is kind of pointless.

You need to have a direct cable connection to the router in order to access the settings with the original router password without knowing the wifi key.

So if you're searching via wifi, you still need the key to access the router settings using the original router password.

I wonder why it never worked

As for the original post. Linux BT4 distro will do what you want, but only for WEP encrypted wifi. Unless you have the right combination of big processor, massive gfx card & kick ass dictionary.... or lots & lots of free time to try force cracking.

Thing have moved on....no cable connection required
You are right though it's pointless app now as the routers are old now and have been updated...
