    Get ebooks on idevice without itunes.

    If you visit torrent sites you will know there are thousands of books for iphone and ipad. If like me you don,t like to sync your idevice with itunes(because you hate it) here is a way to get said books on your device without syncing with itunes.Of course you will need to instal ibooks on your idevice which is free from appstore.

    Go to your laptop and start up your email client, you must be able to access this email account with your idevice too. Send an email to yourself and add your downloaded book as an attatchment. Now access your email account from the idevice and click on the option to open in ibooks. The book will now instal itself into ibooks.Click on the books icon in ibooks and enjoy. This of course can also be used to send books to friends etc.

      after reading this i went to a well known torrent site and searched for some books,found 1 torrent with 4000+ books
      and not all a load of shi+

          Audio books are the way forward....would never read Harry Potter but did listen to Stephen Fry read it....

          iPhone is to small to read a book really...so for me, if ain't in an Audio format it's not happening...

              i dl for the mrs,but i must agree,iphone is deffo too small to read for me,
              im just dl some audio books now,,

                  Theres a nice torrent with 630 odd classic books- I highly reccomend the godfather by mario puzzo. I know we have all seen the movie but the book is a hundred times better and goes into each of the movies characters and past in more detail.Once i started to read it i could not put it down.

                              All iphone books have to be in epub format so search for those on the torrents and newsgroups or just type in iphone books.

                              I have heard that it is possible to convert the kindle mobi format into epub too.
