iPhone 3gs HELP

I've had iPhone 3gs for a while now, and I keep going to download things from app store, and just comes up all time
Needs upgrade 4.0s
How will I do this, as the laptop I used to acctivate is no longer available, also it's jail broken
Can I just install iTunes on another lappy & this will then update ???
Thx in advance if anyone knows.

Just install iTunes and plug the phone in. iTunes will ask you to upgrade hit ok and it will do the rest.
Once done download red snow and re jailbreak if u want.

are you wanting unlock robbo, if so dont restore to newest ios because your baseband will change and theres no unlock

UltraSnow 1.2.5 will work on IOS 5.0.1.....

You need to be on the correct baseband/preserve your current baseband....

Yes it is need to install iTunes. iTunes ask you to upgrade and the you need to confirm it the it will do others itself.

Yes thx I upgraded but some mad reason it lost all music, also jailbreak
Installious cydia Just had to buy this tapatalk ?1.99 cos I've lost most apps, I use this forum a lot, is why I bought, but will I have to jail break again or can it be bumped to me ?

you can only sync your iphone with one version of itunes at a time. So the version you done the sync with was a new version with no music or apps or anything. Unless you can find the computer and the itunes version which was used to originally sync your iphone then your stuff is gone.

On the plus side at least you have the newest ios on your phone and a jailbreak is available.

When you say Ebay is your answer.....do you mean buy it off Ebay?? If so NO NO NO all jailbreak software is FREE...
