How long does your iPhone take to sync?

Just upgraded itunes to the latest version and my 3GS has been syncing for well over an hour now...soo frustrating.

Remember your going from 3.x.xfw to 5.0.1fw....not everything will work...set up your iPhone as a new device...

Make sure all apps saved in iTunes is up to date...this will be true for Cydia apps

Like fiji said best to start as a new phone as it did the same when i updated, It took so long to sync and most apps failed as they where not compatible with ios 5. So all that time waiting for it to sync was just a waste.
Just install your apps manual then sync to make a backup...

It takes longer the more stuff you have on the phone. After the initial new firnmware instalation its got to restore everything back on it from scratch.
