problem jail beaking iphone 3gs old boot rom

hi all,

I jb my own ip 3gs with new boot rom to 5.0.1 using redsn0w_win_0.9.10b3 & it worked fine, but when i tried to do my m8s 3gs old boot rom on 5.0.1, redsnow came up with a message something like "doesn't support unthethered" so i couldn't jb.

I did when asked by redsnow about boot rom select the older boot rom setting.

what am i doing wrong?

my m8s iphone sn is 88018nqj3np

any help with this would be grateful.

Why not try jb using greenpoison, where you can select old bootrom.
