Update it to 4.3.3 and go to jailbreak.me in safari. its just like downloading from the app store. will not work with IOS Above 4.3.3 ....hope this helped abit?

I also have an iPhone 3G 8GB with version 4.2.1, baseband 05.15.04, I would like to unlock the phone so that it can be used on any network, I am not bothered about jailbreak, just want the unlock, what is the easiest way to unlock it please?

Greensn0w is apparantly the most likely to destroy iphone, if i remember right...

I believe the safest way to jailbreak is on JailbreakMe 3.0 ... Hope that helps
