all your purchased music apps etc can re syncd once you have jb via itunes

no it dosent,reason i asked was that if you had it unlocked post contract,then you would have to take certain measures to keep it unlocked when jailbreaking
do a full back up in itunes then follow the 5.0.1 untethered jailbresk guide in the sticky thread at the top of this section,you will then be on ios 5 and jailbroken,,happy days,,if for some reason you dont like it,which is very unlikely you can revert the phone back to how it was,quite straightforward process really
