TomTom App for iPhone compatibility
iOS 5
Version 1.9 of the TomTom App for iPhone and iPad is now available in the AppStore. The upgrade will fix any compatibility issues which you may have experienced with HD Traffic or Speed Cameras on iOS 5. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, and as current compensation, we'll extend your subscription by 30 days. It may take some time for everyone to get their compensation and we will update you by email once the compensation is done.
The TomTom App for iPhone/iPad is compatible with the following GPS enabled devices
iPhone 4S
iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 3G
iPad 2 Wifi + 3G
iPad Original Wifi + 3G
The App also works on the following devices that have NO internal GPS. These devices require an external GPS accessory in order to be used for navigation.
iPad 2 Wifi
iPad Original Wifi
iPod touch 4th Generation
iPod touch 3rd Generation
iPod touch 2nd Generation
Note: iPhone original (2G) and iPod 1st Generation are no longer supported. Do not delete the latest supported version of the App (v1.7) from your device. This version of the application is compatible with these devices and you can continue to use it.
