iphone parts ???

hi guys need some help please my kid droped my iphone 3gs and the screen is all cracked so need to get a new one has anyone replaced a screen on a 3gs ??? and where would i get a good screen and Digitizer i see a lot of crap one with dead areas going a round , everything is still working lcd, touch panel all work just the glass is all cracked

I got a new glass screen off ebay last year.

Have a look at iPhone Repair - iFixit ... pretty good info but the reapir is not for the faint hearted and you must follow the instructions to the letter.

I also replaced the backcase too .... but that really was a bit scary !

I always get my 3gs parts off this guy and have never had a problem and i have bought a lot of parts from him and he is cheap and will despatch same day if purchased before 3pm...

Looks good .... might give him a try ... my 3gs is full of dust 'cos the seal is gone round the glass.

I have bought loads of bits for my wifes phone from these guys over the past couple of weeks - www.appleipodparts.com - really good genuine parts and delivery is within 2 days. DONT get ebay stuff coz i bought some bits from ebay and had to send them back coz they were rubbish.

Go really careful, i only wanted to change the ribbon cable for the home button and every time i open it something seems to break, because of the one button cable I have replaced that cable twice, the digitizer, the lcd screen, the back, the earpiece cable, the power button cable and now i have to replace the connector on the board for the earpiece cable, ggrrrrrrrr

Yeah looks ok but seems to me they only do screens and backs - this site good for every part and they are deffo genuine and brand new and i think the prices are pretty good
