Iphone and ipad wifi problem

As above just recently started having problems on my ipad 2 regarding the wifi, was working fine but this last week it shows connected but wont load nothing in ive read a few things but nothings helped, ive got a virmin home hub, the strange thing is this has only happened since the guy moved in next door and he has a virmin home hub to, one of the fixes was turn off ask to join networks no joy works for a bit then freezes, another ine was change settings in ya router and that never worked either. my phone iphone 4s has started to do it to and my partners iphone 4, its doing
My head in the wifi works ok on
All devices if ya turn it off then bk on but only works for a short period of time

If you can get into your router I would suggest changing your Channel ... you might find you are on the same default channel as next door and the two signals are causing problems.

I am on Virgin too but have an old dlink router so not sure about getting into your hub ... I know virgin make it as awkward as possible to change things.

I had a play about with the router last night but it was late and had ad a few drinks so ill try tonight

I had the same problem when I got my new vm hub. The problem was that the channel was on automatic and it kept using the same as the neighbours so was interfering with mine. So I changed it to channel 11.
Also the vm hub as a firewall software built in it which kept blocking my iPhone so I disable it and all as been fine since.
