Facebook users will soon be able to update their status by talking into their iPhones.
The social networking site is being built into apples IOS 6 software which runs in iPhones and iPads and will be launched later this year.
It will also allow users to "like" movies, films and apps available from the iTunes store.
The IOS 6 will also be first to drop google maps and will instead use it's own maps app, which includes traffic reports and a standalone sat nav.
Siri the voice command app, will feature new languages and be able to launch apps and films and will be able to run in iPads for the first time.

Decided to try IOS 6.0 beta 1....using this method to install...worked like a charm.....will give a go and see whats new....

Adding more languages to siri.. err sorry love but last time i checked it couldn't understand my accent.. adding more languages just adds more crap to the phone..

Siri is pointless.. oh and talking to your phone.. yes your going to look like a **** standing infront of the ramps at meat heads garage waiting for your car shouting your status out repeatably

Tried the ios 6 ... couple of good bits ... do not disturb , privacy setting .... Passbook installed but didn't work. Also seemed to cock up search on the app store ..
