Iphone 4 s problem connecting With virgin

Hi all,just purchased iPhone 4 s ,I am with virgin and can't get it to connect to Internet with virgin,it connects via wifi no problem but just won't connect other wise,any help I would be truly great full, thanks alan

You need to make sure your apn setting are correct.


Found this for "iphone" ... may be not exact for the 4s but the basics should still be the same.#

For iPhone Manual setup click here

- Select Settings.
- Select General.
- Select Network.
- Select Cellular Data Network.

- Under Cellular Data Option
APN: goto.virginmobile.uk
Username: user
Password:

- Under MMS Option
APN: goto.virginmobile.uk
Username:
Password:
MMSC: http://mms.virginmobile.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy: 193.030.166.002:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL:

- Click Network Tab up the top to save



The password bit just gets left blank ... don't put anything in there or it wont work. .... and "user" is just "user"


Good luck ... I have used similar settings for my unlocked dongle so that I can use a virgin sim card.
